Haus on the Hill have been baking out of Hardwick, Vermont for years — traditional Austrian recipes, local ingredients, and the amazing baked goods that people drive miles to get. The “Haus on the Hill” wasn’t just a name, it was the whole identity — connecting family, community and yummy pastries. What they didn’t have was a website, or a brand that could travel beyond word of mouth.
They came to NEK Web Design not looking to start over, but to make what they had work harder. We modernized the logo while keeping the spirit of the original — the house, the hill, just built to live on a website, a label, a sign, or a social post without losing anything in translation. From there we designed and built their full WordPress site under our Custom tier, with hosting and ongoing support included. They didn’t want to figure out a website on top of running a bakery. So they don’t have to.
